The sink is small for the length of the vanity. With the faucet right there, it's okay for washing hands but for washing the face, it's awkward, likely to end up with lots of water splashing everywhere.Keep in mind the 'marble' reference is likely the design because it's engineered stone, which is preferable to genuine marble, IMO, as marble is difficult to keep sealed and therefore immaculate. You're better off with engineered stone.Otherwise, I went shopping for a new vanity and this one fit perfectly. Was the only one I found that would fit (on-line). Beautiful and solid and extremely well packaged, there was no damage to the product at all. It's a long heavy box but I was able to slide it through my front door and down the hall.I made the mistake of not ordering the side splash up front. That is an additional purchase and it's expensive - so if one or both ends of your vanity join with a wall, you need to order the matching side splash(es) to complete your look. When ordering the side splash, pay attention to the name of your piece, for instance mine was called White Lightning. Carerra would have had a different tint.
