I'd previously been keeping my makeup in a closed case on top of my vanity. The case is great for traveling, but kind of clunky to just have sitting out the way it was at home. This organizer is really great - all my essentials fit into it pretty well. I'm deducting a star (only half a star, if I could) because there aren't other sizes to choose from and the two center sections are just the tiniest bit too small to be truly useful for the products I use.Overall, I'm quite happy I purchased this. It sits on top of two side-by-side InterDesign 3-Drawer Multipurpose Storage Containers with Knobs, Aqua which makes it very attractive in addition to being very usefulI actually laughed out loud when I opened the box with the two items I had ordered and saw the size of this organizer. I should give it 5 stars because I am not a good judge of measurements and should have hauled out a ruler or something to give myself an idea of the size. Organizer is much smaller than I anticipated. BUT . . . it is extremely well made plastic - sturdy, color purple is lovely, and enough compartments that it should survive my everyday makeup.A great organizer for the bathroom counter. It keeps everything tidy and in one place and prevents things from sitting where they can be knocked down by cats!The price can't be beat for something of this calibre though sometimes makeup does leave some slight colored stains on the sides.This organizer is made of crylic that's a bit on the thin side but works extremely well for my needs. I have my makeup organized in it; there is plenty of room for most of what I use on a regular basis. That and the color is nice. I also have the matching drawers and the set looks very nice in my bathroom. I consider this money well spent although if you're looking for thicker acrylic that looks less like plastic and more like glass, this organizer isn't for you.It's fine, but my mind imagined it a bit bigger--the smaller holes are find from make-up brushes and such, but none but the largest will hold a stick of deodorant or perfume bottle. And none are wide enough to accommodate hair spray or gel. But I'll get use out of it!It is durable and does compartmentalize okay. I do wish either the spaces were customizable with sliding / locking sections though since my makeup brushes don't really work in the sections as I had hoped. But it is well made and the color is a nice clear purple. Each square on the first and second level is smaller than I had expected. If you aren't putting anything tall in it like brushes then it should work ok.This helps keep things organized in the bathroom. It only loses one star because it does look as much as it costs. :P This is an honest review for which I did NOT receive anything free.Pretty color. What I am not thrilled about is that the back sections are not high enough to hold regular makeup brushes adequately. Thick brushes handle it ok, but standard brushes simply slide down, unless you jam pack them. Design could be improved. But being that this product is purchased mostly for the matching color to other ID products, it serves it's purpose. It is however, a bit overpriced.This product is a decent size. It holds a good amount of my makeup, while sorting it nicely and fits into my cupboard. I recommend this product if you're looking for something simple to organize anything - not just makeupFinally bought this to replace my old, broken organizer. They are quite small and designed for jewellery or lipsticks.My use.I am using it for storing watch parts and it is ideal for this. It’s helped me organise a very messy draw and now I don’t have to spend ages searching for tiny screws or spare watch batteries – they are all in here.Overall.Quite small but useful for all sorts of things. It is plastic but well made and finished. It is quite expensive for what it is really.
